Research & Writing
For an additional fee, Benchmark Press will find all of the
photos that you need for your calendar. As well, if you choose to produce
a calendar that includes historical information, such as “on this day in history”
or “important family or community facts” we will handle all of the research
and writing responsibilities. This means that we will track down photos and
visit the Saskatchewan Archives and other pertinent sources of information
to search through genealogical records and newspapers to find relevant information
for your calendar.
Our fees will be based
on the type of calendar you choose to produce. For example, a family history
calendar will require in-depth genealogical research, while a calendar only
featuring pictures of prairie landscapes will require little research and
time to find photos. As a result, until we speak with you about your individual
project, we can only provide you with a general estimate.
