In 2006, Benchmark Press teamed up with SaskEnergy, KidSport™ Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Roughriders to produce the 2006-07 Saskatchewan Roughriders Commemorative Charity Calendar and the 2007 Saskatchewan Roughriders Charity Calendar.
The 2006-07 Saskatchewan Roughriders Commemorative Charity Calendar went on-sale in Saskatchewan on June 30, 2006 and nearly sold all 1,000 copies within one month. Meanwhile, 5,000 copies of the 2007 Saskatchewan Roughriders Charity Calendar hit store shelves in September, and it is expected to sell out within a few months.
Both of the calendars will raise funds for KidSport™ Saskatchewan and Football Saskatchewan to help children in need participate in community sport programs. To date, the 2006-07 Saskatchewan Roughriders Commemorative Charity Calendar has generated $40,000 for KidSport™ Saskatchewan and Football Saskatchewan.
