Marketing
Books
Benchmark Press will promote your book through a variety of avenues including:
You will also receive a copy of our most current Saskatchewan Media Directory, so that you can contact media outlets to further promote your upcoming book.
With Benchmark Press’ Bookstore you will always know when new orders come in and who is purchasing your books. All orders received through Benchmark Press’ Bookstore will be immediately forwarded to your email account, so that you can get your books out to your customers quickly, while learning more about your target audience and building your own customer database.
If you decide to produce a book that is for personal-use only, such as a family history or a Masters thesis, you can opt out of Benchmark Press’ marketing strategy. This will save you money and ensure that you decide who owns a copy of your personal work.
You can also save money by marketing the book yourself. By taking the time to create your own media releases, posters and talking with bookstores, you can successfully market your work. You may also want to set up a booth at your local trade show to display and potentially sell your books.
Calendars
If you plan on selling the calendar, we will manage all of the legal and administrative requirements that are involved in the publishing process. We will create a barcode and arrange for an ISBN Number and copyright protection of your calendar. We will also work with you to market your product.
