Benchmark Provides Media Support to Hecla Oasis Resort

The Manitoba office of Benchmark Public Relations was pleased to be contracted by the Paletta Group to provide media relations support for its announcement of a new partnership agreement between its Hecla Oasis Resort and the Peguis First Nation.

The Paletta Group has been in the hospitality industry for 30 years. It owns and operates the Clarion Hotel and Urban Oasis Mineral Spa on Portage Ave., the Days Inn on McPhillips, and the Radisson Hecla Oasis Resort on Hecla Island. The group is also involved in a partnership with Tribal Councils Investment Group for the Radisson Hotel Winnipeg Downtown.

 

Benchmark Organized Provincial Trails Symposium

Benchmark Public Relations was retained by the Saskatchewan Trails Association to organize the first-ever Provincial Trails Symposium on September 19 and 20, 2008 at the Regina Inn. The event featured a number of presentations ranging from marketing your trails to a trail building workshop. A draft strategic plan was also discussed during the symposium.

Going Global Events Organized Across Saskatchewan

Trade Team Saskatchewan, a federal/provincial organization involved with export development and trade investment, has contracted Benchmark Public Relations to organize a series of Going Global seminars.

These seminars, hosted by Wayne Robinson of the Estey Centre, will discuss the opportunities and challenges to make your business an exporter. The three-hour session will discuss such topics as risk management; international trade preparation, steps, and strategies; international marketing, finance, logistics, and distribution; and the legal aspects of international trade.

In 2008-09, Going Global sessions were held in Saskatoon, Prince Albert and Regina. The latest Going Global was held in Weyburn on November 18, 2009.

2009 Saskatchewan Roughrider Calendar
